ATOL (Air Travel Organisers' Licensing) is a statutory scheme managed by the Civil Aviation Authority to protect the public from losing money or being stranded abroad because of the failure of air travel firms. The Customer Protection Group manages the ATOL System by licensing Air Travel Organisers, discounted ticket sales firms, and holding bonds of licensees.
ATOL is the only protection scheme for "air holidays" sold by tour operators in the UK.
We are licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority and hold ATOL T7309. The air holidays arranged by our company are ATOL Protected. ATOL Protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom.

As registered member U6856 of the Travel Trust Association we act as the principal or organiser for "non-air holidays" in compliance with the EC directive on Package Holidays, published in the United Kingdom as "SI3288 The Package Holiday, Package Travel, Package Tour Regulations 1992".
The TTA is a Trade Association including over 400 Travel Agents and Tour Operators in the UK. The association is organised to regulate its members through a strict Code of Conduct and provide financial protection to consumers and recognised suppliers of TTA members.
At the core of the scheme, all client funds received are held in an independently operated Trust (escrow) Account and backed by fidelity insurance on behalf of all parties until the services are provided or someone else becomes responsible for the protection of those funds.
Where we act as an organiser as defined in the Package Travel Regulations, funds received from the client are released only on completion of the client's trip. |
